Data set

Besides the programme the data set 'Pinus.txt' is to be found in the sub directory 'input'. This data set is the result of extensive investigations in an even aged, isolated Pinus sylvestris stand near Quickborn, North Germany. The data were worked out by Venne, Thormann, Scholz and Degen from the Institute of Forest Genetics and Forest Tree Breeding in Grosshansdorf, Germany. This input file contains the genotypes of 162 adult pine trees (90% of all trees) at five polymorphic isozyme gene loci, their d.b.h. (diameter breast height) and spatial position in the stand. The sub directory 'referenc' carries three files ('Pinus113.txt', 'Pinus.56txt' and 'Pinus72.txt'). These files include the multilocus genotypes of single tree progenies from the adult tree numbers 113, 56 and 72.

Viewing the manual

The manual is written in htm-language. You view and print the manual with your internet browser (e. g. Internet Explorer, Netscape Communicator or Netscape Navigator). First, create a directory 'Manual' and then extract the WinZip-file 'manual.zip' into this directory. Select the html-file 'manual.htm' .
